New Championships for breeders, riders and producers

The SHB(GB) National Hunter Supreme Championship Show (July 3-4) promises to be even better this year with the addition of several new classes and exciting championship prizes.

Breeders now have their own dedicated championship with the new Breeders Cup series offering £1000 in prize money to be divided between the breeder and the owner of the winning horse while the breeder will collect the impressive Sidney Parker trophy (pictured) and a voucher for an oil painting of their winning horse by the talented equestrian artist Rebecca O’Dwyer. All horses winning an in-hand class at an affiliated show prior to the show will be eligible for the championship class at Addington EC.

The new British four and five-year-old ridden hunter championship has a generous £2,000 in prize money while the inaugural SHB(GB) loose jumping class for three-year-olds, to be held on the Monday evening prior to the show, offers a prize pool of £1,500, sponsored by Sculpture to Wear.

Just three of the reasons for you and your horse to be at Addington in July.
