A big warm welcome and an even bigger thank you to VT Vet Services who has agreed to provide a generous sponsorship of our SHB(GB) foal grading series. We are delighted to have the backing of this veterinary group that is based in Kirtlington, Oxfordshire.

“As we share a common interest in breeding and young horses, we look forward to working alongside Sport Horse Breeding (GB) and supporting the new foal grading series,” said VT founder, director and vet Dr Helen Van Tuyll.

So far the highest scoring foal awarded a mark of 8.6 is Rachael Cowan’s Perfect Alibi by the SHB(GB) graded stallion Gemini Classic Opera out of Rachael’s 15-year-old coloured mare So Sweet. Irish-bred So Sweet of unknown breeding was successfully shown in coloured classes being placed at both Horse of the Year Show and the Royal International Horse Show.

25^th August – New Hill Farm, Worsley Manchester

27^th August – Catherston Stud, Nether Wallop, Hampshire

4^th September – Millbryhill Stud, North Yorkshire

4th September - Langaller Stud, Bovey Tracey Devon

7^th September – Woodcock Farm, Old Sodbury, South Gloucestershire by kind permission of Jason Fergusson. Venue is 3 miles north of Junction 18 M4 just off the A46

15th September - Classictop Stud, Crowborough, Sussex
