SHB(GB) Stallions on Parade at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials

The parade of stallions takes place in the main arena immediately after the last horse in the dressage. Please note that the list of stallions listed in the official Badminton programme is incorrect. The 12 stallions taking part in the numerical order in which they will enter the arena this year are;


1 LePrince Des Bois (Yarlands Summersong-Quandy Du Mayne) ridden by showjumper Gemma Johnsey-Plummley, is a former four-star event horse with world ranking bloodlines, now standing with Tomlinson Equine, at Westonbirt.


2 H-Ekwador (Heraldik xx-Corofino) ridden by Lewis Carrier, is a former Olympic grand prix dressage horse. He is available through Elite Stallions.


3 Party Trick (Chilli Morning-Tolan R) ridden by his owner/breeder Nick Gauntlett FBHS. Party Trick, the champion of the 2016 SHB GB spring grading, is now competing in evening. He is available for stud duties through Chescombe stud and West Kington Stud.


4 Billy Congo (Vechta-Animo) ridden by Pippa Funnell is a 18-year-old international grand prix showjumper. In 2013 he carried William Funnell to European team gold. Billy Congo currently stands at the West Kington Stud and Stallion Centre.


5 Langaller Starmaker (Keady Star-I’m a Star) ridden by Charlotte Rowe is a coloured six-year-old stallion currently competing in eventing. He is the youngest of the stallion team at the Langaller Stud in Devon.


6 Ashwey Laurenzo (Lauriston-Ircolando) ridden by Tom Cousillas was the champion of the 2018 SHB(GB) stallion grading. He is available through Stallion AI in Shropshire.


7 KL MAC (Larduc-Graf Quidam) ridden by Olivia Sealey is based at Kington Langley Stud near Chippenham. KL Mac is successful in jumping and dressage.


8 Hallmark DS (West Coast Cavalier-Fourstars Allstar xx) ridden by Fred Scala is an Irish Sport Horse stallion graded with SHBGB in 2015. Now competing in eventing he has already sired winners in the show ring.  He stands at Dalcotes Stud in Cornwall.


9 Future Gravitas (Grafenstolz-Bohemond xx) is ridden by JP Sheffield who competes him in eventing. From the Future Sport Horse Stud in Yorkshire Gravitas is by the leading sire Grafenstolz


10 NPS Supernova (Casall Ask-Carthago) a seven year old show jumper from New Priory Stud near Chippenham ridden by international jumper Helen Tredwell


11 Timolin (Totilas-Sion) ridden by Gubby Leech stands at Catherston Stud in Hampshire. The British-bred son of dressage star Totilas was Champion of his SHB(GB) grading, is a former champion in the show ring, and now a winner in eventing and dressage and also the sire of winning young stock.


12 Chilli Morning (Phantomic xx-Kolibri) the 2015 Badminton winner and 2016 British Olympic team horse ridden by his winning partner, the former world number one William Fox Pitt. Chilli Morning stands at West Kington Stud and Stallion Centre.
