Sales List

The Sales List is open to all horses that are registered with the Society and only costs £15 (with photo) or £10 (without photo) for the first horse and £5 (with photo) or £2 (without photo) for each subsequent horse entered at the same time, for a period of six months.
The list is sent out free of charge to any prospective purchasers, always available on the web, and is given out on the Society's stand at major shows and events around the country.

TWO QUALITY TB BROODMARES FOR LOAN - Both mares have excellent pedigrees, both have had four foals so far, both mares are very easy breeders. Looking for loan homes as owner in severely bad health at present and doesn’t want to leave mares barren for the second year running. Both are available immediately after this years foals are weaned, or am happy to hold onto both of them until stud season 2012. Both mares have fantastic temperaments and very easy to do in all respects. Neither of the mares have lived out – both stabled at night. Want both mares to go to professional breeders – both mares can be split up. “Zagala” – 11 years old, dark bay, 15.2hh (but looks a lot bigger). Head Stud Book registered in 2006 where she also came 3rd overall that year. Is by Polar Falcon out of an Emarati mare. Zagala scored 9’s and a 10 at her grading. She has excellent conformation and paces and has passed all these qualities onto her four foals she’s bred so far (all TBs). Zagala was a winner on the racetrack. “Lady Starlight” – 9 years old, chesnut (but shows brindle in colour), 15.2hh. Is by Almutawakel out of a Be My Guest mare. Hasn’t got the best of action since breaking her hip and pelvis in winter 2009, but has recovered well and foaled easily and vets (Rossdales) have given her a clean bill of health for breeding from again. Has given us four cracking foals, all with excellent conformation and action (all TBs). Lady Starlight never raced. Both mares older progeny are in race training at present, both here and in France. Horses due to race early 2012 both on the Flat and National Hunt. Both mares would easily breed winning Sports Horses. M Reg Leyland Daf 45 130 Turbo - Well cared for and full history known, very reliable easy to drive ideal ladies lorry. Cut through from cab to living. Living sleeps 4 including large luton and table/bench seats which convert to a 6ft bed. Sink and double ring hob/grill. Lots of storage cupboards including full length wardrobe and separate tack cupboard. Horse area stalled for 3 large horses. Aluminium floor topped with rubber and rubber kick plates on walls. Full solid padded partitions with head dividers. Just had new power steering box and radiator along with pre plating check. Tax until Feb 12, plate due Aug but should sail through (never failed!) Albion Dressage Saddle. - This particular saddle is called the 'Style' dressage saddle. Details as follows: ·Colour = Black (Leather) ·Size = 18". ·Narrow/Medium fit but please note this saddle has also been widened by a saddle fitter This saddle is in extremely good condition. It was purchased brand new and has had one owner. There is one very minor piece of damage to the pommel area. There is no other damage to the saddle.
